Great turnout last night. I couldnt be more proud! The question has come up whether enough donations were provided last night to cover all of the costs incurred. Thank you to those that donated. Lets just call that part good enough. I want to give proper attention to the Johnson Family who lost their Husband/Father and 11 year old son over the weekend after being hit by a car as they were on the Fathers electric scooter that he uses for mobilty. (here is the article-deseretnews/article/865617697/West-Jordan-father-son-killed-in-auto-pedestrian-accident.html Given the season of giving that we are in with Christmas, please consider making a donation to the family to cover funeral expenses and other expenses that the family will incur as they adjust to not having a husband/father and provider in the home. This needs as much energy as we put in last night for our townhall. We need to show up in large numbers in how many donate. Lets show our support to a fellow West Jordan neighbor.
