Great weekend for the new #43 Richfield Bloomington Mitsubishi, BIR Performance Driving School, Prior Lake Transmission, Rapid Ripouts Legend car. At Raceway Park on Friday night, James started 12th in the 15 lap feature and worked his way up to third but the outside line backed up on the last corner and he finished 5th. At Elko Speedway on Saturday night, James won his first heat race of the season. In the feature James led 17 - 18 laps of the 20 lap feature. The last several laps saw some great side by side racing with good friend Derek Lemke. Derek edged out James on the last lap of the last corner for a great 2nd place finish. So close to that first Elko feature win. Special thanks to Tim Brockhouse at Great North Legends for getting us into the new chassis. Congrats to Todd Tracey and Derek Lemke on their wins this weekend.
