Great words from one of our Board Members Soraya and Member of the month!! Just had to share this #ViralAngels #RealBusiness #PassiveorActive #FinanciallyRegulated #WellEstablished #Trading My Viral Angel journey in 2014 2014-12-18 2014 started very uneventful. But this all changed in February this year when I was very fortunate to be the only person from the UK chosen to travel to Gothenburg to hear the details of an amazing new Viral Angels promotion named ‘Rainmaker’. We had to sign a non disclosure agreement and in return for a life changing amount of Trig shares I had to simply find 200 new members in just a few weeks! This was quite a challenge, but I decided I would rise to the task with enthusiasm and diligence. Progress however was slow and at times I seriously doubted I would make the required target. Anders even asked me at one point if I would like a different deal for less shares for less members but I was determined to succeed. With only 2 weeks left to the deadline I was only a quarter of the way there. Failure was not an option. I spent every waking moment trying to achieve the target. I’m a great believer in the law of attraction and with a great motivated team, I reached the target of 200 on the very last day of the promotion. In fact in the end I had 230 new members. Mission accomplished! In June Tony asked if I would be a member of the board, and I gladly accepted this invitation. Shortly afterwards, on 27th July ,I organized a Viral Angels meeting in London for members and guests which was attended by some of the CEOS of the Companies in our portfolio. It was a unique opportunity for everyone attending to engage with the heads of these companies . On 30th May I was invited on another trip to Gothenburg with Gerwyn to speak at the Swedish meeting. Even though my command of Swedish was non existent it was wonderful to catch up with our Scandinavian friends. Anders even found time to take us on a tour of some of the lovely Archipelago islands of Gothenburg. I travelled back to Sweden again on 1st September but this time with my husband Steve for an open day at the Viral Angels offices in Stockholm. The offices were open to all members to come and meet all the team. We stayed for an extra day in Stockholm to sightsee the beautiful old town. A lot of the summer months were spent anticipating when Trig Social Media was going to list on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Finally we had the date, the 18th September- my wedding anniversary! All the Rainmaker leaders travelled to Germany for a celebration dinner and to witness the listing of TSM. We set off early in the morning to the Stock Exchange to allow enough time to go through security checks followed by a champagne reception (or tea in my case!) We waited eagerly for the Exchange to open, and at 9.15, TSM shares appeared on the board at an opening price of 3 Euros. Tony Norman and Phil Cook then rang the famous bell and this was followed by everyone clapping, cheering and taking lots of photos. An incredibly exciting event. I was extremely honoured and privileged to be a part of this historic moment. On the 5th October I organized another event in London which was attended by 6 CEOS of some of our portfolio Companies. This was another action packed meeting hearing the vision and potential of their respected companies and possible future listings. Then over to Sweden again on 4th December for a wonderful traditional Christmas Dinner at Fjaderholmarnas Krog, on an island in Stockholm, together with the Viral Angels Team and Board Members. A lovely evening with friends and colleagues. So all in all, I had an amazing 2014 with Viral Angels, and met some of the most fantastic people, and I am now very much looking forward to see what 2015 can bring! Sincerely/ Soraya Anderson
