Greater KC Iowa Club Event - Iowa at Purdue, 11/09, 11am CST The Iowa Hawkeyes hit the road for their 6th B1G game (10th overall) in hopes of securing bowl eligibility and will take on the Purdue Boilermakers in West Lafayette, IN at 11am CST. Iowa (5-4, 2-3) and Purdue (1-7, 0-4) have faced each other 83 times with Purdue holding a 46-34-3 edge in the series. The Greater Kansas City Iowa Club will be hosting our annual Hawktoberfest celebration (albeit in November) and it will include a pumpkin decorating contest, Michigan FB ticket raffle, and other prize drawings. Doors will open at the Other Place at 10am. Get there early, get a good seat, and a pumpkin!!! As always, memberships and shirts will be on sale. The OP will be offering specialty burgers for $5.50, $0.59 wings (Tommy like wingie), and 16 taco pizza for $19.99. In addition to the food specials, they will also be offering a few drink specials. The more Iowa wins, the crazier Kinnick South gets, so get there early!!! Doors open at 10am!!!! The Iowa Club will also be holding a game watch event at the Olathe Other Place. In addition to promoting club memberships and t-shirts, we will also hold a raffle for Michigan FB tickets. Doors at Olathe open at 10:30am. The party will begin at 6pm and conclude with a basketball game watch at 8:30pm. Iowa hosts Notre Dame in the B1G/ACC Challenge. As always, the club will provide pizza and appetizers.
