Here is the mountains on either side. Here is the water in front of us, the Red Sea? Will you be a bridge builder? -------------------------------- 1 People in this world are looking for answers. But they are often closed to our religious “talk.” How do we reach them? 2. We build a bridge of serving. Serving people is extremely powerful. It will break done all types of barriers that people have towards God. 3. The less expected and undeserved our serving is, the greater impact it will have Be a bridge builder ---------------------- 1. Your acts of service are a megaphone in the hands of God. 2. When we serve others it says, “God loves you!” 3. You are building a bridge between that person and God. GREAT CHASM !!!! ---------------------- Man was separated from God when he did sin. There emerged a wide and deep chasm between man and God. The man crossed the chasm and stood on the side of death. There was no way for him to come back to his original state. Man was the son of God before he sinned and crossed the chasm. He was the offspring of God. The whole earth was his possession. He had the dominion over nature. He spoke and created. He was a creator. He was the seed of God. But he lost his sonship as soon as he crossed the chasm. He became a sinner in his nature. He came under the hands and the dominion of Satan. God accepted the chemical of the blood through sacrifice. But the blood of bulls and goats did not take away sin (Hebrews 10:4). It just covered sin. LIQUID BLEACH ------------------- If you see a red spot in my hand and if I cover it with a white color, the red spot is still there. But God sent liquid bleach from heaven to take away the sin. That is the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. When we confess our sins, the sin falls into the liquid bleach of God and is taken away completely. It cannot be seen again. There will be no more remembrance of sin against him. He then crosses the great chasm by the blood of Jesus Christ. Now he can have a complete fellowship with the Father standing on the other side of the chasm. His stains of sin cannot be seen anywhere. Now he is free. Hallelujah! That red ink is broken by the liquid bleach and it cannot be made red again. Similarly, confessed sin of a man or a woman is broken completely when it is washed in the blood of Jesus Christ leaving no sign or indication of the sin. Then the chasm is closed and there is no more remembrance of his sin. After that, he is accepted as a justified son of God. When sin is plunged in the blood of Jesus Christ, all the molecules of sin reaches Satan and stay on him until the Day of Judgment. Satan will be cast into the lake of fire on that day. GREAT CHASM in LUKE Luke 16:26 !!! ------------------------------------------- Satan creates false chasms in our minds. Those chasms send too many to the brink of that fixed chasm in eternity over which they, like the rich man, will look with longing, but without hope. We cannot let Satan so deceive us. God reveals to our hearts through His word the endless opportunities of a blessed life. Greed, selfishness, shortsightedness, alienation and ignorance, are chasms that can be crossed now if we will let God show us the way. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord (1 Cor. 15:57, 58).
