Greatful to live in a country where the CBC is kept at arms length from the government, and can be critical of the very politicians who fund it. Lets hope that in 2015 this brand of independence is restored to research, allowing government scientists to share their findings and views without a filter, restoring an emphasis on funding good science rather than profitable science, and reinstating the long-form census, as good governance requires good data.
