Greatness Through Spiritual Comprehension: Romans 8:7 King James Version (KJV) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. The main reason why God instructs us to renew our minds, is far beyond not just being conformed to the world; but it is mostly for the purpose of being able to comprehend with God and to prosper in Him and Him/His purpose prosper in and through us. The natural human minds deals with facts that are evident in order to arrive at a meaning before going for or achieving its purpose. But God is a spirit Being, and what we call visions and revelations are spiritual facts and finished products with God as things that already exists around Him, even if they have not earthly form/existence yet or physical comparison. But in Christ, Gods spiritual realities are thing that also belongs to us. And it is important that we are able to comprehend with God when He speaks in His language of who we are in Him and in the language of our inheritance in Christ. Because some of the things are already here with us on earth and more of it we will have to be birthed from the spirit realm before they will ever have a physical form of manifestation. This makes the renewal of our minds from carnal way of reasoning into spiritual comprehension a paramount part of our spiritual walk with God. Or else we will not enjoy even our personal relationship with Him, as we will be comparing fulfillment in Christ and His faithfulness to things we relate to emotionally and what we get only in the natural realm; while to God, the things that are actually felt or seen are considered expired things from the spirit realm in the language that God communicates from. Not that God doesnt relate with our emotions, He also know what they are subjected to as well. But His language is empowering and has truth, faithfulness and security in it. Without the renewal of your mind, it does not expand or have the capacity to comprehend with God in any form or way. And as far as the natural man is concern, where the comprehension of the mind finishes, emotional judgments begins. And emotional judgments can kill. You see, Gods language or His transference of things to you is likened to a power station that supplies electricity the a community or area: Between the station where the power comes from and the community there is a strength or capacity required of the cables that carries the power and a transformer to both break power down and carry the current coming from the station. Between the transformer that supplies power to the area and streets in that area there is a capacity required of the wire or electrical cables require to break down and carry current. And between streets and homes there is a break down of power as well and a capacity is required of the cables or wires carrying power or current from street to houses so that your appliances can work and serve you according to their specification. At all stage there is a break down of power required and a capacity required too. What am I saying here? You can not put a lean wire on a high tension current without intermediate break downs in between, your lean wire will either melt without transferring power to appliances, or if the power pass through, all you appliances with be burnt up; thats why there are electrical mechanism put in place to disconnect power from going through to homes and appliances when the power coming in is to hire for them; or else everything will go up in smoke. When emotional judgments kicks in because of the absence of comprehension and you lack a shock absurder to balance you, you will born bridges, destroy favor, judge greatness as not being fair and destroy your own peace through bias. It is only your comprehension of the language of God or your fear/holy reverence for Him that makes you to be led by the Spirit, that makes you to cooperate with the process that births your spiritual inheritance and that also promotes your peace in this life. The renewing of your mind is about increasing your capacity so that you might be able to carry what God is delivering, comprehend what He is saying and partner with Him to birth greatness in the earth. Because, as Scriptures puts it, As the heavens is higher than the earth, so are the ways of God higher than mans. You can not have a closer walk with God or fulfill His purpose for your life through emotional relationship. Because, that wire (of emotions) will burn purpose up and deny you inheritances by interfering with and destroying the birthing process that leads to everlasting joy and peace. A transformer breaks down and transmits power effectively for life to go on effectively. Thats also what a renewed mind that comprehends with God is or does in the human life when walking with the Almighty: Romans 12:2 New King James Version (NKJV) And do not be conformed to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove (comprehend) what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
