Greeneway, As you know, if you attended church today, I am in Ukraine preaching and teaching at a Seminary. Here are a few pics from my time here in Ukraine so far. Spent the night in Eastern Ukraine (a safe part of the East). Went through several Army checkpoints to get there. Spoke at little church that may have never had a foreigner speak before. It was a great honor for me to be a part. The service was three hours long…whew! Included three sermons! Here are pic descriptions left to right…. 1) Soup - every meal begins with soup. 2) Soviet era mansions. Big on the outside, but may be almost empty on the inside. 3) About 100 people were packed into a house that was converted into a church. 4) I now speak Ukrainian…just like I do Spanish…with translation! 5) The ministry team. The pastor of the church in purple. The missionary in middle. 6) Soviet era bread factory. They used to stand in line for hours for the opportunity to purchase bread. 7) Typical country side village homes. I am now in Kiev. Will update with more pics in a couple days! See you Sunday!
