Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore was on The Bill Good Show on CKNW today, backing the Northern Gateway Pipeline--and bashing his old organization for scaring people-and children-about climate change. Moore says humanity needs oil and will for decades to come--and millions of people would die without it. He says every tree in the world would be cut down just to generate heat. Moore long ago split with his old enviromental confreres, and also fronts a campaign pushing for Golden Rice, a GMO that aims to prevent blindness in the 3rd world.
