Greer DuPre Giegerich Thought you might like this..Posted few years ago and been trying to find it..With all the Mustang roundups, separating Mares & Foals, some dying......And the domestic horses being over bred...And seeing SO MANY being posted looking for homes, going through Auction/Sales Barns. .WISH PEOPLE WOULD Would QUIT OVER BREEDING ...Not a market for them..Mares & foals ending up going to slaughter, or being neglected, starved.. :( I LOVE THIS and yet It breaks my heart for her...poor broodmare.. Finally Found It!!.... One of my Favorites.. Shows the LOVE A MARE still has FOR babies..EVEN THOUGH A STUFFED ONE!) She was a broodmare & had all her babies taken away..THE MOTHERS LOVE IS ALWAYS STILL THERE Never forgets being a MOM..!!!! I HAVE NEVER SEPARATED MY MARE FROM HER 3MTH OLD FOAL, RENO WHEN RESCUED ALMOST 3 YEARS AGO except to wean. 4years March 15th 2015......JUST CANT!!! Still very affectionate with each other and do not like to be away from each other or out of each others sight..No..not riding yet..Only going to ride Reno 3yrs old now.....
