Greetings Huntsville/Northern Alabama people. I am officially on the hunt for some land to cultivate into a food forest/park using permaculture practices. If you know of anyone who has unused property and who is sympathetic to cultivation practices which are not always neat and tidy but which are super abundant and regenerative to the soil and ecosystem then please help me make contact. I have been studying permaculture in my free time and am hungry to learn more via practice. My ideal situation would not involve money and would be co-operative so that everyone involved benefits from the abundance and also contributes via organic wastes and labor energy (if possible/willing). What I have in mind requires some labor up front but is designed and implemented to be predominantly perennial and low maintenance in the log run and could potentially incorporate small water features for capture and use of rainwater.
