Greetings! Indamixworldwide : Drowning Track of the week !! La musique est un cri qui vient de l’inérieur’ (‘Music is a call comin’ from the innerside’) used to sing famous French singer Bernard Lavilliers. As many words takin’ all their signification in regards to this melancholic if not plaintive composition by the likes of South African DJ Fale and CJ as remixed buy Osunlade… Music has this incredible ability to suggest as many images depending on the atmospheres it displays. What we call the power of transportation, I suppose, with Yoruba Soul mastermind Osunlade providing the right elements to increase the emphasis of this experimentation by the likes of producer Simphiwe Nkosi aka DJ Fale and saxophonist Casper Jan Hendrik Steenkamp to the ultimate level. With a feeling of like an inevitable… drowning into a growing deepness along with time, from the key arrangements to the jazzy sax part courtesy of the latter, added to a haunting vocal hook. One word: outstanding! indamixworldwide/2014/08/22/dj-fale-cj-drowning-yoruba-soul-mix-hood-natives/
