Greetings Old Bridge Followers, ‘A rolling stone gathers no moss’… Thus we are excited to announce our next Old Bridge Cellars function! TIN SHED WINES WITH A SPITROAST PIG COOKED BY THE WINEMAKER/CHEF PETER CLARK WEDNESDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER 6.00 – 8.00 PM $25 A LITTLE ABOUT TIN SHED WINES The Tin Shed Wines adventure began in 1997, when Peter Clarke’s passion for food and wine overflowed one night in the company of friend and viticulturist Andrew Wardlaw. Peter is head chef and part-owner of the award-winning Vintners Bar & Grill near Angaston in the Barossa Valley. The following year, the pair combined their talents in a small tin shed to create their first wine. This Shiraz was mollycoddled from the outset – handpicked and hand nurtured using wild fermentation and minimal additions. The undivided attention the fruit and resulting wine received paid off, with the Single Wire Shiraz receiving accolades from wine lovers and wine writers alike. Their wines were designed to be unique and are continually being hailed as such by those who have the privilege of tasting them. Event Details Come down to Old Bridge at any time between 6 – 7.30pm to wander around the cartons. At various intervals Peter Clark will be sharing his unique knowledge of winemaking & the wines that you will taste on the night. Each ticket entitles you to; • A Zerutti Italian Crystal wine glass which is your very own to take home at the end of the night. • A spit roast pig & gravy roll • A tasting glass of each of the following wines; 2012 All Day Rose / 2012 Riesling / 2010 Melting Pot Shiraz / 2010 Old Mataro Grapes / 2009 Single Wire Shiraz After tasting the delicious wines they may be purchased at great prices on the night.
