Greetings from CHED Region IV-B (MIMAROPA)! This is in reference to the implementation of the Regional Graduate Tracer Study (GTS) covering graduates of AY2008-2009, AY2009-2010 and AY2010-2011. Hello my name is Rolando C. Llames (see attached CHED GTS ID) and I’m working for the Commission on Higher Education. We are currently doing a survey on higher education and its perceived benefits. We would very much appreciate your participation in this initial tracing (see attached TRACER MATRIX). Kindly fill up and/or update the required informations at the noted tracer matrix. The information you will provide us will help us understand how college graduates are able to utilize their education for future employment among other things and issues about the relevance and quality of college education in the Philippines. Whatever information you provide will be kept strictly confidential. Please be informed that you have been randomly selected in the multi- stage random sampling that has been conducted for all eligible respondents covering college graduates in the three academic years taking into account the proportional distribution of college graduate population by type of school and discipline. The study aims to help Higher Education Institution (HEI) to be more “strategic” in developing their curricula and making new staffing decisions. It also aims to provide information to students and their families on alternative study programs to be used in deciding whether and where to continue their studies.
