Gregg Triggs was homeless for five years in his teens. He says he would not have survived without meals from a Salvation Army food van. “I’ve been off the streets for 20 years and I have wanted to return the favour ever since,” he says. Every Monday and Wednesday night, Gregg and Glenda distribute food and blankets to the homeless or hungry in Albany in Western Australia using a van theyve borrowed for the winter months. Gregg hopes to be able to purchase his own van to be manned by volunteers five nights a week.
