Grey, cold, and windy weather always sets in after the lights and excitement of Christmas . . . it doesnt bother the cows, but its not much fun for us to check on them and put out hay to supplement what is left of our grass. Lots of geese on the pond and little birds on the feeders - this year, we have a lovely flock of bluejays who had been passing through in the woods but decided to hang out once it found the feeders.
