Grieving for and with one of the families in our church who lost a young loved one in a motorcycle accident last night. The right words to say. . . I dont have them. What I do have are the promises found in Gods Word. Those promises help us through the most difficult times in life. God says, NEVER will I leave you. NEVER will I forsake you. The Bible tells us that when we dont know how to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. Gods Word assures us that NOTHING, not even death, can separate us from the LOVE of God. And most importantly, there is ETERNAL life through Jesus Christ! Its the light of Christ that we cling to in our darkest moments. May that light lead us on today and may we remember that today is a gift from God.
