Griezmann had a stunning season for Sociedad and the Spanish side have been bracing themselves for bids for the 23-year-old. His fine form earned him a place in Frances World Cup squad ahead of former-Gunner Samir Nasri. The bid for Griezmann could come as a hint that Lukas Podolski is to leave the Gunners. Podolski has made no secret of his desire to return to his beloved Cologne after their promotion back into the Bundesliga and if Wenger can get cover the German could be off. It is looking likely to be a busy summer for the Gunners as they not only have to replace the outgoing Bacary Sagna but get the right players in other areas to make sure they last the pace in next seasons title race.
