Group condemns hotel demolition Posted by: Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, Onitsha in News 18 hours ago The Campaign for Democracy (CD) yesterday condemned the Anambra State government for its hurried demolition of Upper Class Hotel without conclusive investigation. The three-storey building was demolished on the orders of Governor Peter Obi last Thursday and Friday, following the alleged discovery of two fresh human heads, two AK47 rifles, three loaded cartridges and a military cap in the hotel. CD in a statement by Dede Uzor A. Uzor, Chairman, CD Southeast condemned the demolition, which it said was hasty. “Governor Obi acted arbitrary and undemocratically.
