Group input needed: Need advise on nightly calls to STBXN... Childrens calls to father have always been unpleasant. The past few weeks the verbal abusive and manipulation has escalated. He is now screaming at my son and I, trying to get both children to verbally agree that he was the primary caregiver, manipulating 5 year old to agree that he always played with children when he rarely did; pressuring 5 year old to say that she refuses to talk to him to please her brother and I; trying to get 12 year old to verbalized that he wants nothing from his father, etc. Whenever I stand up for children he starts screaming at me, claiming that I am alienating them and that they will not tolerate my games, will take this to court, etc. My last attorney did nothing about the abuse. Whenever I complained he stated there is a court order and we had to call each night. Just left message for new attorney. My question, is there some way I can protect the children and I from his constant verbal/emotional abuse while still fulfilling court order of making nightly call? What would happen if I say the call is too abusive and upsetting and refuse any future calls?
