Group support needed: Asking for prayers & pixie dust, please. Court is @9am today. My son & I are expecting him to be there. He contacted my attorney Friday, seeking a continuance. My attorney said no but has advised he may be given a continuance by the Court. Our son will be 35 on Friday, its been 17 years since he turned 18....at least 25 years since I have even seen him. Honestly, I would given just about anything to not have to go through this....I wouldve given just about anything if he wouldve just paid his child support obligations. People split up all the time & are able to move forward & do what is right by their children ...but, apparently when I left due to the constant abuse & infidelity, I mustve committed a mortal sin, & he & his family have been punishing me (& ultimately our son) for the last 36 years....how dare I?? Just hoping I get a Judge that wont let him succeed in never doing a thing for his son. Im not holding my breath but instead believing & praying that justice will prevail. 😊
