Growing up in Lethbridge... Take a look at how things have evolved. 1) once upon a time you had a dedicated telephone table with a wee seat because the cord didnt allow you to move about 2) the telephone book has a vinyl cover with ads on it 3) The silverware chest was on a stand because you used the good dishes and silver EVERY Sunday... Because that was an institution to do so after midday mass at church 4) Us long haired chicks wore rollers to bed just like our mothers 5) This is Christmas Eve and we are chatting to moms youngest bro in the navy while his ship was in port in NS 6) I was thanking him for the newest version of Barbie. (The one with the ponytail not the coiffe) and her legs didnt bend yet We were so appreciative of little things and felt that all was right in the world with our special people in attendance.
