Growing up in the 60s and 70s it was amazing all the great comedy albums that came out. I must have had most of them...from Jonathan Winters to Bill Cosby to the riskier humor of George carlin and Richard Pryor...the sophomoric Cheech and Chong...and the much deeper National Lampoon and the Firesign Theater. It was Carlin who made me laugh the most. and Class Clown his best work. Hard to believe it has been 43 years since this album was released.I thought I might share it with those who remember it and with those who maybe hearing it for the first time. Sharing comedy albums was always a tricky situation. Problem #1 is playing a comedy album for a friend. What has you rolling on the floor with laughter might just go sailing over your friends head. Problem #2 was loaning an album to a classmate/friend/co-worker since you run the risk of them mimicking your album back at you the next day. I knew people who you recite the entire Dave?Daves not here. skit. Anyhow, I present Class Clown. Honestly, Carlin works clean for the first 40 minutes. From funny stuff your friends do......I remember Billy Bruton could turn his eyelids inside out!!!! Then he recalls his life growing up Irish-Catholic.....it is the last seven minutes you might want a heads up over......the & words you cant say on television.....so you have been warned.Good luck and enjoy...
