Growing up in the projects everyone had a mother, but we all had 30 other mothers. Some would yell at you for doing something that you shouldnt be doing. Some would remind you that your own mother wouldnt approve of what you were doing. Some would call your mother and get you in trouble. Some would buy you a slush from Leo when you were the only kid with out one. Some would let you eat over when having a BBQ, and some would let you sleep over. So many of our mothers have left, but those project Moms made a lot of us the men and women we are today. We all didnt turn out perfect. But I think we all turned out a lot better Growing Up in The Projects. Happy Mothers Day to the project Mothers here or in Heaven!!!
