You will be expected to improve aircraft availability by providing continuous monitoring of aircraft fleet status and the identification of fleet reliability and operational performance issues. You will also be responsible for managing individual AOG events at the request of the Duty Manager or MOCC Controller and ensure that all maintenance including casualties on QR Aircraft is carried out to the highest possible Maintenance Standards and Safety in the most productive and cost effective manner using ALL available Resources at Engineerings disposal. In addition, you will ensure the highest standard of Support, Service and Technical Dispatch Reliability are provided to the Qatar Airways operation and Qatar Airways Customers.About You:Minimum Qualification: Licensed Engineer with multiple authorizations (including A380 type rating), both B1 & B2. Recognized Engineering / Computer Science degreee Sound Aeronautical and Airline Background with detailed Knowledge of modern Aircraft and Engine systems. Fully Computer Literate.Minimum Experience: Extensive experience of working in a Line Maintenance environment. As least 5 Years experience as a qualified Licensed Engineer (not including OJT)Job Specific Skills: Comfortable with new Technology. Use of Airman, AHM and My Boeing I.T systems. Be capable of Inductive and Deductive Thinking. Result Orientated High Energy and Positive Attitude.
