Grrr! Vets! This is not my vet, but why is it down to the pet owner to insist over and over again for a blood test to be done and the vet refuse? Dog has been putting weight on over a period of time on minimum amount of food. Vet tells owner to keep cutting food down. In the end the owner feels like she is starving the dog. Vet just keeps saying to cut down food! Owner phones up a rescue for advice who says it could be Thyroid and in the end has to demand a blood test to be done...it is Thyroid trouble! THEN the vet refuses to hand over medical records because the owner wants to source a vet who can do a better job then them! Especially because the owner will then be expected to pay a consult fee for shite advice! RAAAR!!!
