Guam OVOPs Tell us Tuesdays feature is the Guam One Village One Product. Guam experienced many changes in lifestyle for many years. Among those changes are some self-sustaining agriculture and the minimal importation of goods. Guam OVOP is a movement created to help residents work together as a community to market locally produced tourism products or services that meet the visitors needs. Below is a link to a video introduction of Guam OVOP. Feeling the Guam hospitality and sharing the Hafa Adai Spirit is not too difficult to experience. The diversity of cultures and people on the island of Guam is not too difficult to see. Trying to find what is unique to each village on Guam is a challenge. Guam OVOP has accepted that challenge and is trying to extend that challenge to all the residents of each village. There are a couple of villages that have accepted the challenge when Guam OVOP approached them. There are some food producers and cultural heritage artisans who have accepted that challenge when Guam OVOP approached them. Are you up for the challenge?
