The girl liked it that way, never to be seen, She spent her days playing in the forest of emerald green. Although she was unknown, she was never alone, The leaves and the streams and the trees were her home. But Lumberjacks came to do their job, Every fallen friend did make her sob. She hid in the bushes to scare them away, But the man didn’t see her as he swung his blade. First the steel bit bark, then it bit bone, Gone with a scream was the girl unknown.
