Guerrilla Dance Practice Day 120 Feedback Today Hannah Ruth - TopicsExpress

Guerrilla Dance Practice Day 120 Feedback Today Hannah Ruth Brothers and I danced in the park by her house, where we were visited by her young neighbor, Rachel, who was very curious about what we were doing. Rachel joined us for bits of our dancing, and even watched Hannah Ruth for some of our rehearsal of “Resilient, receptive,” the solo we’re working on. The most interesting question Rachel asked I think was “Why are you doing that?” If you’d like to ask some of your own questions, we’re ready for your feedback on the piece. The attached video is a run from yesterday—while a few things shifted today, none of them were major. Here’s a few things I’m particularly looking for feedback on: 1) Ideas for costume? I’m tempted by something that has tassles… 2) Do you see the title (Resilent, receptive) in the work? 3) What is the most important thing you perceive happening in the piece? 4) What do you see? 5) Are there any parts of the piece that seem inconsistent with the whole, or that lose your interest? If you don’t want to post publically on facebook or my site (bodysensate) feel free to email me or PM me! Thanks in advance for your thoughts! Ive tagged some of you to make sure you see this...no pressure :-) And dont think that if I didnt tag you I dont want your feedback...I do. Also rehearsing tomorrow (Thursday) at the Montecito School of ballet from 1-3 with a run at 1:30pm. Audience welcome :-) https://vimeo/117342258
