Guess what? We got a surprise this month - the Bakehouse made the newest edition of the Lonely Planet Myanmar - in the Dont Miss: Eating for a Good Cause section in Yangon. We are thrilled - and our friends at Shwe Sa Bwe and LinkAge also made it! We wont quote all the blurb, but will share this with you, our friends: A model enterprise of its kind, the bakehouse pays its trainees twice the going monthly wage as well as providing counselling and valuable work skills. It’s not surprising that it has built up a loyal clientele for its delicious bakes, hearty sandwiches, fresh salads and good coffee. Thank you!
