Guests filled the Humble Civic Center to attend the Kingwood Women’s Club 17th Annual Holiday Marketplace on October 28-29, 2013. This year’s event had a record attendance of over 2,500 guests and raised more than $100,000. These funds will be distributed in the Spring of 2014 to various charitable organizations in the area, such as H.A.A.M, Society of St. Stephens and Project Mammogram. This year’s Holiday Marketplace featured merchandise from over 90 booths, from home décor, women’s and children’s fashions, to gourmet food items, jewelry, accessories and much more. “Many of our guests look forward to our event due to the unique variety of items sold by our vendors.” says Bobbie Wells, VP of Ways and Means of KWC. If you have never attended our Holiday Marketplace, plan on attending next year. Market dates are scheduled to be Oct. 27¬-28, 2014, so mark your calendars!
