Gun rights is not something that only Ive only recently cared about. This story is from 2009 and highlights that Ive been politically active and involved for years in seeking liberty and honoring my oath. Truth be told, my problems with expressing my opinions didnt start until after I met with Obamas staff at the White house in 2009. They didnt like my distrust of his policies and treatment of the military. I was too honest with them and they began pressuring my command to get me under control after that. Suddenly, I was being subjected to IG investigations, but no one could tell me why. As I close out my career in the military, the one thing I can say that I accomplished is that I never sacrificed my values, principles or beliefs for political correctness and inaccurate suggestions that Soldiers sign away their rights when they sign the dotted line. I never complied with illegal or unconstitutional orders. When I receive my official honorable discharge, I can truly say my service was honorable.
