Guttation is where leaves eliminate water on their surface. You can often see tiny drops in the summer days after a good rain. This video shows these drops being collected from corn grown from neonicotinoid treated seed. Bees often drink these drops in their travels. The effects are quick and lethal. As a systemic pesticide, neonicotinoids move through the entire plant, including the fruiting parts which make pollen.
