Guy Heinze mass murder trial update: On cross examination by Special Assistant District Attorney John B. Johnson, forensic pathologist, Dr. Jonathan Arden explained that he disagreed with the states expert as to the cause of some of the wounds, including some described as cock roach bites. Johnson read a part of Ardens report in which he offered a hypothetical idea that it would take 10-20 minutes for one person to kill all eight victims if he did not meet with resistance. He agreed that many of the injuries were consistent with the barrel of a shotgun. The wooden stock of a 20 gauge shotgun was discovered in a closet where Russell Toler Sr. was found but the barrel was never found. Two of the female victims had defensive wounds, according to Dr. Arden.
