Guys I know this is election season and all and debates are ongoing about which candidates we support and which we dont like, well these debates enrich our democracy and bring more awareness to the voting populace as we learn about the abilities and intentions of those willing to rule us. I am interested in participating in as many of these debates as I am invited to. I however wish to add a caveat, if what you want to debate is based on ethnic or religious rivalries: CHRISTIAN VS MUSLIM, YOURUBA VS IGBO, VS HAUSA VS FULANI VS MIDDLE BELT VS NIGER DELTA kindly leave me out of it. I am intelligent enough to know that most of our leaders who profess these same religions for political purposes do not even practice these religions with sincereity, its another standard for them to negotiate whatever office they desire while the rest of us bicker. Nigeria will never be a mono ethnic or mono religious society, so I take you who think you are on a Christian crusade fighting for your faith on social media on behalf of politicians who only need the so called faith to get to office to loot as the same as the idiot Boko Haram who belives he can impose his own warped version of Islam on everyone in this country. If neither of you practice live and let live then I do not want to be a part of your nonsense. Its all politics and I say ethnic and religious politics is dangerous, it has always had terrible consequences for us, lets stick to issues.
