Guys, I need help. Im not sure how to phrase this, and im sure it will come out wrong but Ive really kind of come to hate people. Not individuals, i can care about and love individuals very deeply, but people as a whole make me want to do horrible things to humanity. This isnt a people are mean kind of problem either, its the closed mindedness, the tendency for everyone to be set in their views and refuse to consider any other possibility. Theyll rant and rage against something that when it comes down to it, they actually agree with. People are largely incapable of thinking on a level deeper than the surface, and so its nearly impossible to convince anyone of anything, regardless of how destructive their preconceived ideas may be. People embraced hitler, merely to hold onto their ideas and beliefs. I guess what bothers me is that, if it is impossible to convince someone of anything, then is history, as well as the future completely set in stone? Is there anything that actually can be done to alter it? (Unless God chooses to, of course)
