Guys, I need your help, I recently moved to the states, well its almost a year now and got my second car as the 13 Camaro Convertible LT1. It had 33,000 miles and the dealer i.e. Lokey KIA Tampa hooked me up an extended warranty, Since I didnt have much credit history, he said if I buy the extended warranty he will give me 9.55% APR but I dont its 14.00%. Luckily I got it refinanced from the USF FCU for 8.00% APR. He told me that the extended warranty is bumper to bumper. Now, Recently I crossed 36,000 miles and had a leak issue. I took it to the dealer and they said that my warranty is not covering the expenses, they quoted around $1200 for the repairs. I got my car repaired and paid $1286.00 today and got the car back. Now I want to cancel my extended warranty as he explained the extended warranty would cover any electrical issue or mechanical issue in case of breakdown. I googled and found out that extended warranty is not a good choice. But I look forward to your advice. I think I still have a factory Powertrain warranty which covers my engine, transmission etc. Looking forward to hear from you guys. I also did many Mods to my car, which I will share in another post. Thanks Jesse
