Guys! This is the solidarity movement I and a bunch of awesome Taiwanese people have been working on over the past week. We almost spent our last drip of energy. The purposes of the solidarity movement “Save Taiwan! Fight for Democracy! Montreal Area” are to show our support for Taiwan’s vibrant democracy, which allows for vigorous political dialogue on a range of issues, and to condemn the government’s violent and brutal suppression on unarmed sit-in student protesters in Taiwan.
