Guys have a little tech post for you. Got asked by Mark Saunders for a measurement on mounting a flathead v8 into a model a. Wolfman thisll help you too. From the radiator hole CENTER in a Model A crossmember to the front edge of the 75mm x 50mm mount is 85mm on my Roadster. Ive used standard flatty rubber donuts and the hole is in the center of the 75mm top of the mount. Will include a few pics of how it fits in my engine bay. As you can see plenty of front clearance and plenty at the rear too. I also set the mount above the chassis as you can see. It made it easier to clamp to the frame when I set it up. Ill likely trim that off when I weld it in permanently. Also have one of steering box and clearance on that side for Wolfman Dan. But hard to see without taking my hood side off but theres plenty of room for a center dump header. If you guys need more pics of anything let me know.
