Guys, please: Dont fall for this Keystone oil pipeline distraction anymore. Especially those of my friends who consider themselves to be Liberals. Setting to one side my opinion of the whole Liberal/Conservative, Democrat/Republican song and dance routine, it is a simple fact that there are at present THOUSANDS of crude pipelines crisscrossing our entire nation. They are a long-established and well-tested part of our national transport infrastructure. Honestly, they have been around for just a bit less time than electrical power lines, telegraph wires, paved roads and train tracks. In their day, all of these developments served more than merely functional tolls, but were often used to bait various political coveys to distract them from real issues and things that actually matter(ed). In the comments I will include several images which might help to clarify the issue.
