Gratefulness Day 2 - In my Day 1 post I spoke about the gift of eyes…this rolls into my gratefulness for Day 2. #1 Mother - A mother is a gift from nature. The first glance of mother and child, so incredible special how two souls connect and remained joined even after the body exists no longer. I’m so incredibly blessed to have had my mother for forty-three years in the flesh. I could speak endlessly about the impact she had on my life, but know she was so very special. She was legally blind and never had the opportunities I’ve had to explore and venture and see the marvels each day unfolds. Mothers teach their children to live life with eyes wide open and not miss the big picture. When I was eight or so a conversation between me and my mom…”Mom if I die I before you I will give you my eyes”…this never happened, but I do hope you know how very much I love and appreciated looking at you each day and being your support and sight when you couldn’t see. #2 Sebastian – My beautiful grandson that I love so very much. I am so grateful to look upon your beautiful face and hold you close in my arms. I’m so delighted to be your Nonna :) #3 I am grateful for being an artist whether through dance, photography, painting, decorating, or displaying my own creativity in my garden…a constant inward and outward expression of self. I believe I have touched the lives of many through my talent. This adds to my completeness in living. Thank you again cousin Tara Iacobucci for bringing me into the grateful ring, now I invite sisters Anne Hagan and Lynn Shubert to take five days to recognize what you are most grateful for!
