Gwen Stefani leads the performers at star-studded People Awards Gwen Stefani performed her new single on Thursday at the inaugural People Magazine Awards in Beverly Hills, California. The 45-year-old singer hit the stage with collaborator Pharrell Williams as they belted out Light The Fire at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Pharrell, 41, earlier introduced Gwen as she was named the winner of the Style Icon Of The Year award. The event featuring Nick Cannon as host was a newcomer to the Hollywood awards season that culminates in February with the Academy Awards. Editors at People Magazine chose the award winners and were assisted in the acting categories by editors at Entertainment Weekly. The awards ceremony honoured television and film performances. Adam Levine and Maroon 5 performed Animals. 5 Seconds Of Summer also performed.
