HA!! I think Im the first to announce something, and its pretty nifty. FB are moving heavily into video functions (not terribly new news) but I have just found out they are releasing video remarketing which is really cool when you think about it. You can show another video or photo to people who have watched the video. The specific info: - You can target people that watched your video ad (3s or more) or finished watching (95% of video). - You can start retargeting once the initial campaign collects 1000 views. - You wont have to insert any pixels. FB do this part for you. Nice. - will be done via the Power Editor. - You can also do negative remarketing to target people who didnt watch the video. Which means you can try another option until you work out what works. - You most probably can exclude a custom audience. I am confirming this now but that would mean stop advertising to people who have already clicked through for example, or are already customers, etc. In terms of putting a lead through a funnel, this will really help, especially if you can exclude people who clicked on your call to action (eg went to your website). Video is also really easy to produce. With the advent of smart phones or desktop recording, you can pump out some decent stuff quickly. Theres a lot to like about this technology from FB and Ill put something together about how to make a nice sales funnel with it.
