HA SHEM... What is Ha Shem? Ha Shem literally means "The Name." - TopicsExpress

HA SHEM... What is Ha Shem? Ha Shem literally means "The Name." The Jews, their elders and rabbi after that they have settled in the promised land, thought the Name of YaH is so kadosh according to the third commandment that YaH will not hold anyone guiltless for taking His Name in vain. So by their wisdom they devise a substitute in order that no one would be held guiltless for uttering His Name for falsehood. So instead of calling our Creator by His Name, the people were forbidden to utter His Name and instead they were made to call Him Ha Shem. But Ha Shem is not His Name, Ha Shem is a lie about His Name, it is a replacement or substitute of His Name. Psalms 68:4 YaH is His Name. (Not Ha Shem) Psalms 61:5 Thou hast granted a possession unto them who revere Thy Name. (Not Ha Shem). Psalms 61:8 So will I sing Thy Name unto Futurity... (Not Ha Shem) Isaiah 42:8 I am YaHVaH, that is My Name... (Not Ha Shem). Hallelu Yah, not Hallelu Ha Shem, the messengers in heaven proclaimed. While Shem may mean Name or fame or identity or personality, it is not His Name and it is not equal to His Name because in the Name of YaHVaH is authority, character and all His goodness including your salvation is in that Name. It is a Salvation Name as we read in Psalms 54:1, Proverbs 18:10, Joel 2:32, and Acts 4:12. And Shem is the name of the eldest son of Noah, the last patriarch before the flood who lived to 630 years. The attempt to mock at YaH and bring His Name down is not only human but the work of the enemy who used human agency to destroy man, by profaning His Name and insult our Abba. Therefore, Ha Shem is not His Name and He did not authorized men calling Him Ha Shem. In Ezekiel 36:20-25 YaHVaH spoke out very strongly against those who profaned His Name by calling Him by substitute name. He single out His people, the Jews who profaned His Name wherever they go or are taken captive. He said, "When they entered among the nations where they did enter, then profaned they My Kadosh Name, in that it was said of them, The people of YaHVaH these, yet from His land have they come forth. So then I will had tender regard for My Kadosh Name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, where they had entered. Therefore, say thou to the house of Israel Thus saith my Master YaHVaH; Not for your sakes am I working, O house of Israel, but for My Kadosh Name, which ye have profaned among the nations where ye have entered. Therefore will I hallow My Great Name, that hath been profaned among the nations; which ye have profaned in their midst; so shall the nations know that I am YaHVaH, declareth my Master YaHVaH, when I have hallowed Myself in you before their eyes. Even today, Ha Shem abound but Ha Shem just like God, Lord or even Adonai is not His Name. They are lies of the enemy, Ha Satan, to snare the people. Do not get trapped!
