HADLEIGH ALLOTMENTS. WHOOPS A DAISY, IM IN DEEP TROUBLE. 42 of our Ladies have formed the, HADLEIGH ALLOTMENTS GARDENERS SLIMMERS. Its a slimming, keep fit dance group.The Ladies in their wisdom entrusted me to purchase their pink leotards. I ordered a selection from age 17 to 92 and sizes 10 to 24 they are very tasteful a tad revealing and thin but with a touch of spandex in the right places. Tell you what I loved looking through the catalogue. Now here is the thing bit of an oversight ,I hold my hands up Ladies.The letters are £1 each so I had to buy 33 letters for each leotard costing £33 each so thats £33 x 42 = £1320 extra. Scandalous! so without thinking first I instructed the printer to just use the acronym. Ive just opened the pack they are a beautiful pink but Im so very, very sorry Ladies [schoolboy error] Im so , so sorry. Mind you when you do Shows it will make Folk look. On Tuesday we have a theme meal which should be fun. ONLY FOOLS AND TWO COURSES. A fry up with mounge tout and bread and butter pudding. We draw a piece of named paper for characters. There were huge laughs when Jim drew Marleene, Bert drew Casandra and old Tom got Rachel. Jill got uncle Albert ,Carol got Boycie and the vicars wife and Daisy got the Driscol Brothers. We all laughed out loud when we asked Brian who have you got ? he said Wodney, couldnt make it up could you. I drew Trigger which is funny because at the end of the shed a broom has been hanging there since 1894 its the same broom had two handles and two new heads but its the same one because old Jim has a photo of it taken in 1904. Old Bob is a good sport he has let us take one wheel of his yellow mobility scooter and put a notice on the side Trotters independent Traders London New York. I cant wait for Tuesday it should be a good do.
