HALAL BIHALAL The Big Family of Darunnajah Foundation 2014/1435 H (by Rizma Yahya) Halal bi-halal is a special ritual for Muslim after Idul Fitri. During this, Muslim Indonesians visit their elders, in the family, the neighbourhood, or their work, and show respect to them. This could be done during or several days after Idul Fitri. Usually core family and neighbour first, during first day of Idul Fitri, further relatives in the next day, and work colleagues in days to weeks later after they get back to work. Halal bi-halal The Big Family of Darunnajah Foundation held on Thursday, 14 August 2014 / 18 Syawal 1435 – means eighteen days after Idul Fitri – and it was attended by almost 4.000 people consisting of Ustadz and Ustadzah (Teachers) with their families, from Darunnajah 1 and the branches (15 branches). The event was held in Sport Building (GOR), Darunnajah 1 Ulujami, Ulujami Junction, South Jakarta. Mr. Saifuddin Arief SH, MH as the Chief of Darunnajah foundation gave a speech about the progress of Darunnajah and also talk about how importance of re-generation (kaderisasi). The tausiyah was delivered by KH. Djamhari Abdul Jalal, as the Chief of Darunnajah Board Supervisors and as The Principal of Darunnajah 2nd Cipining. He emphasized about the importance of keeping the silaturahim, and also how the teachers able to devote themselves outright with sincerity. The expansion of the Waqf Land (tanah wakaf), informed by Dr. Sofwan Manaf, as The Principal of Darunnajah 1 Ulujami. Now, totally Waqf Land that belongs to Darunnajah Foundation is about 629 hectares, including Palm Oil Plantations and the branches expansion. In addition, also delivered about the quality improvement in Darunnajah. The good quality supported with a good person as well, that’s why Darunnajah should have set a good standardization, both in academic and non-academic, which aims to create a strong personal mentally, morally and physically. Alhamdulillah Darunnajah entering 40 years old in 2014. Insya Allah the anniversary will be held in April 2015. Darunnajah has provided The Lots (kavling) for teachers which located in 11 different locations and until now its available about 433 housing. The house may be owned by the Darunnajah teachers with the cash payment or credit.
