On the Tube the Central Line will be operating but some stations will be closed or exit only due to high demand, so passengers are encouraged to consider walking part of their journey to and from Notting Hill Carnival. Ladbroke Grove will be closed on both days, Latimer Road will be closed at 11.30pm and Notting Hill Gate will be exit only between 11am and 7pm, and there will be no interchange between Central and Circle or District lines. Circle and District line trains will not stop at the station between 11am and 7pm on Monday, August 26 Royal Oak and Westbourne Park will be exit only between 11am and 6pm on both days, with Royal Oak closing at 6pm and Westbourne Park at 11.30pm. Carnival goers are advised to consider using alternative stations to get to the event, with passengers on the Circle or District lines urged to use Bayswater or Paddington stations as an alternative.
