HAPPY 20th ANNIVERSARY to my wife, Deirdre Powe!!! I thank GOD and you for all that my life has been blessed with since we met and came together as one. Most people enter into relationshipis for how they can benefit or what they believe the other person can do for them, but fail to ask the most important question. What am I willing and prepared to do for the other person? This is the ultimate test of love. You came into my life at what was probably its worst and lowest point and immediately began to help me rebuild. I knew you where and still are the person for me because of your faith and trust in not just who I was at that time, but in who I would become. You join me when there was a lot of work to do in healing my past, dealing with the unexpected death of my brother and reconnecting with GOD. For this reason, I celebrate on today the exceptional person, friend, wife, mother, daughter and child of GOD that you are. Enjoy today to the fullest and may GOD continue to bless us with a life that is full of HIS best and exceeds anything that we could ever hope for or desire. Love Always, Ty Marriage is a covenant not a contract. A contract says you do this item as defined and I will do this as defined. A covenat says on the other hand, I will do my part even if you struggle or fail to do yours. Marriage is a three-way (three-fold cord) covenant between GOD and the couple. It is not a 50-50 agreement. It is a 100 percent agreement between all parties to do their best to honor their commitment to each other and to step in whenever necessary to help the other person in fulfilling their commitment. A covenant is based on giving and not just receiving. Ty Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, 12 NKJV Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
