HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Karen. You asked me how I could still love you because you have put a bit of weight on and because you have a tendency to be a bit clumsy. I love you no matter what, chunky, skinny, clumsy, the fact that you thought Rome was a country in its own right, during the good times and the bad times. I just love you, whether you are crashing the car, falling out of the loft, falling off walls or into ponds, changing electric switches without turning off the power, ordering the shopping so all we have to eat is Flash and Bleach. I love the way you buy me two of everything (by accident), but most of all I love your huge heart, the way you scream at a woman while you have road rage and then go to her home the next day to apologise, when you insist on giving every beggar we see money or running to the supermarket to buy them vouchers. I love the way you support me in everything I do, I love your cold baked beans on toast and your burnt Pizza. I love the way you wander around the house with your pyjamas on inside out and back to front. I love that I see a side of you that no one else is privileged to. I love the way you laugh at yourself and the way you get the giggles at the most inappropriate times.
