HAPPY AT HOME .... Hello lovely people at the DCSPCA! A month ago, you helped my boyfriend and I to give Genevieve a loving home with us. We kept her name because she responds so well to it and it suits her! We just wanted to update you on how shes doing so far and how happy shes made us! She seemed very shy and aloof at the shelter but as soon as we got her home, she was winding around our ankles, purring. In all the times I visited her, I never once heard her meow, but she is very talkative and likes to mimic sounds as well! She loves to sit in the windows and watch birds at the bird feeder and is a fierce hunter....of her toys! Any time she catches one, she meows incessantly until she can bring it to one of us and proudly drop it at our feet. As soon as you are seated, she is in your lap, purring. She is very loving and we are so happy to have her. Thank you so much, Olivia and Zach
